In this edition we provide details of the Public Consultation on the licensing of Suppliers and Installer of Safes, the recent prosecution of an unlicensed security guard, Electronic Security Sector statistics and Health and Safety in the Locksmith Sector.
The Private Security Authority (PSA) has published a Public Consultation document “PSA Licensing Requirements – Supplier or Installer of Safes”. The document contains provisions which the PSA are considering applying to contractors requiring a licence to provide security services in the Supplier or Installer of Safes sector.
These guidelines are for contractors wishing to add a sector(s) to an existing licence.
