The following Commencement Orders have been made in accordance with the Private Security Services Act 2004, as amended.

Commencement of Section 37 as it relates to an individual who provides a security service as a door supervisor or as a private investigator, or who as a security guard, provides the security services referred to in paragraph (e) of the definition of “security guard” in section 2(1) of the Principal Act.

Commencement of Sections 2(1) (a) and 2(1) (b) in respect of Enforcement Guard (Contractors).

Commencement of Sections 1-8 as it relates to the definitions of “court messenger” and “enforcement guard”.

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Locksmiths (Contractors).

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Private Investigators (Contractors).

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Door Supervisor (Event Security) and Security Guard (Event Security).

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Security Guard (CCTV Monitoring) and Security Guard (Alarm Monitoring).

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Access Control and CCTV.

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Protected Forms Of Transport

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Door Supervisor (Licensed Premises) and Security Guard (Static) (Individuals).

Commencement of Section 37 in respect of Installer (Intruder Alarm) and Security Guard (Monitoring Centre).

Commencement of Sections 29 to 33, and 35 and Section 37 in respect of Door Supervisor (Licensed Premises) and Security Guard (Static) (Contractors).

Commencement of Sections 13 to 16, 21 to 28, 34, 36 & 38, Parts 4, 5 and 7 and Schedule 2.

Commencement of Part 1, Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19 and 20 and Schedule 1.

The following Commencement Order has been made in accordance with the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011.
