The importance of consumers in the provision of security services is recognised by the PSA. This is highlighted in our mission statement:

To protect the public by regulating the private security industry through raising standards, increasing awareness and enforcing compliance.

In applying standards to the regulation of the security industry, the PSA aims to ensure that consumer interests are at the forefront of service provision.
