On the 30th of May, 2022, David Duffy trading as A1 Auto Electronics, 59 Delmere, Enfield, Co. Meath appeared before Judge Anthony Halpin in Dublin District Court and pleaded guilty to a breach of the Private Security Services Act. The prosecution by the Private Security Authority (PSA) followed the provision of locksmith services by Mr. Duffy without holding the required PSA licence.
After considering the mitigating circumstances, Judge Halpin requested that the defendant pay the sum of €200.00 to the charity, The Little Flower Penny Dinners, Dublin, with costs of €2,000 awarded against Mr. Duffy.
