On the 3rd of October, 2022, Barry Behan t/a Homewatch Security, 19 Preston Brook, Rathangan, Co. Kildare, was found guilty at Naas District Court of one breach of the Private Security Services Act, with three further breaches taken into consideration.
The prosecution by the Private Security Authority (PSA) followed the above named company’s provision of security services (Installation and Maintenance of Intruder Alarm) without holding the required PSA licence.
Judge Zaidan fined the defendant €1,500 with costs of €3,772.09 also awarded against the defendant.
