The Private Security Authority have issued the following guidance note on the current Public Health measures:

From 4 May

Sector Guidance
Electronic Security (Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm) All security services are permitted. Retails outlets may remain open to provide essential services.
Locksmiths All security services are permitted. Retails outlets may remain open to provide essential services.
Private Investigators All security services are permitted.
Alarm and CCTV Monitoring All security services are permitted.
Security Guarding All security services are permitted.
Cash-in-transit All security services are permitted.
Door Supervisor and Event Security No security services are permitted due to current Public Health restrictions in place.

From 10 May

Sector Guidance
Electronic Security (Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm) | Locksmiths Retail outlets may continue to provide essential services. Click and collect and in-store services by appointment only.

From 17 May

Sector Guidance
Electronic Security (Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm) | Locksmiths Retail outlets fully open

From 2 June

Sector Guidance
Door Supervisor Hotels and other accommodation services may require door supervisors from this date.

From 7 June

Sector Guidance
Door Supervisor Outdoor services can resume with groups limited to 6 people for restaurants and bars. These premises may require the services of door supervisors from this date.
