The Private Security Authority (PSA) successfully prosecuted an intruder alarms installer for a breach of the Private Security Services Acts.

Liam Whoriskey trading as Whoriskey Security Systems of Newbridge, Co. Kildare was convicted today at Naas District Court for installing an intruder alarm without a Private Security Services Licence. Judge Desmond Zaidan fined Mr. Whoriskey €600 and order him to pay costs of €984.

The prosecution follows an investigation by the PSA into the installation of an intruder alarm at a residence at Rathangan Road, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare.
