The Authority has received information that a man has been phoning security contractors in Kildare and Meath with a view to visiting the contractor and inspecting their services.
The Authority’s Inspectors all carry identification which indicates that they are an inspector of the Authority. The identification includes a photograph.
Our inspectors will normally give advance notice in writing before calling to you. In circumstances where advance notice is not provided the inspector will identify themselves and show you their warrant card which services as their identification.
As most of our inspection work is undertaken on a geographical basis where you have previously had dealings with an inspector the likelihood is that the same inspector will be dealing with you in the future.
